Zapoznanie z biofizycznymi prawami i pojęciami umożliwiającymi opis procesów zachodzących zarówno w organizmie żywym jak i w środowisku. Poznanie wpływu wybranych czynników fizycznych na organizm człowieka, z uwzględnieniem ich znaczenia w wyborze metod terapii i diagnostyki w związku z potrzebą ochrony pacjenta i personelu medycznego. Poznanie fizycznych podstaw metod stosowanych w fizykoterapii i diagnostyce. Nabycie i doskonalenie umiejętności opisu wpływu czynników fizycznych na organizm człowieka z wykorzystaniem umiejętności przeprowadzania obliczeń i wyznaczania wartości określonych parametrów biofizycznych i fizycznych. Zwrócenie uwagi na potrzebę konieczności zachowania dokładności i rzetelności podczas wykonywania pomiarów i interpretacji wyników. Rozwinięcie umiejętności odpowiedzialnego współdziałania i komunikacji w relacjach zawodowych oraz posługiwania się podstawową terminologią z zakresu biofizyki dopasowaną do odbiorcy informacji.
