Full description:

Aims of the course:

1. The aim of the course in the lectures dimension is to provide basic knowledge theoretical in the field of physiology and selected pathology issues pregnancy and gynecology. Gaining knowledge in the field of diagnostic procedures, therapeutic, prophylactic and nursing in relation to pregnant, giving birth, obstetricians and a newborn in the first days of life.

2. As a result of the education process, the student will learn the scope of the nurse's operation in the obstetrics and gynecology department depending on the clinical diagnosis, patient's condition and planned therapy.

3. The student will acquire knowledge about the procedure during physiological and complicated labor. He will learn about the causes of threats to the mother and fetus.

4. The student will learn about the basic gynecological diseases. He will describe the life threatening conditions in gynecology.

1. Female genital anatomy.

2. Menstrual cycle physiology.

3. Reproductive physiology.

4. Pregnancy and fetal development.

5. Childbirth.

6. Contraception.

7. Climacteric.

8. Pathology of pregnancy- multiple pregnancy, bleeding during pregnancy.

9. Structure and assessment of the bone pelvis Birth canal - structure and dimensions Construction and dimensions of the fetus The location of the fetus in the uterus.
