  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Full description:

Aims of the course:

1. Getiing acquainted with thermodynamic changes.

2. Getting acquainted with the circuits of internal combustion engines.

3. Aplication the above-mentioned changes in real objects.

KNOWLEDGE – A STUDENT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS:

1. The Student knows the parameters describing the thermodynamic state of a thermodynamic medium.

2. The Student knows the principles of thermodynamics.

3. The Student knows thermodynamic transformations.

4. The Student knows the methods of heat transfer in real objects.

5. The Student knows the factors determining the efficiency of heat transfer.

SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO:

1. The Student can measure the parameters describing the thermodynamic state of a thermodynamic factor.

2. The Student is able to determine the influence of the internal combustion engine on the natural environment.

SOCIAL SKILLS – A STUDENT IS READY TO:

1. The Student is able to work as a team.

2. The Student is able to work independently.

3. The Student is creative in carrying out laboratory exercises.

4. The Student follows the safety rules when performing laboratory exercises.
