Full description:	During the course, students learn about the structure, operation and the biological role of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, hormones and vitamins as well as the main functions in the metabolic pathways and metabolism regulation mechanisms. A discussion and critical evaluation of information on biochemistry from different sources is included.
