Full description:

Aims of the course:

1. Familiarize students with the basic EU and national legal regulations applicable in the field of occupational health and safety and ergonomics of various workplaces in production and service enterprises

2. To acquaint students with the basic knowledge of occupational health and safety in the field of basic obligations of the employer and employee, obligations of the employer and managers employees and employees in the field of health and safety.

3. Become familiar with the tasks and responsibilities of the occupational health and safety service in various enterprises, The scope of training in the field of occupational health and safety in manufacturing companies and services, analysis and assessment of occupational risk, organization of a safe workplace

Learning outcomes:

1. Introduction to the legal provisions in force in Poland. Basic concepts and legal issues. Types of legal provisions used in the EU and in Poland.

2. Basic obligations of the employer and employee, obligations of the employer and people managing employees and employees in the field of health and safety.

3. Tasks and responsibilities of the health and safety at work in various enterprises. The scope of training in the field of health and safety in enterprises construction and related.

4. Analysis and assessment of occupational risk, organization of a safe position work during the construction works. Responsibility participants in the construction process.

5. Accidents at work and occupational diseases. Responsibilities of the authorities supervising enterprises. Work ergonomics.
